are they racetech emulators?
i've got a pair of racetech springs with the spacers cut already. and i need to order the pre-load adjustable fork caps as well, so I'll already be taking the front end apart. Will adding the emulators be fairly easy? Or are there adjustments I'll need help with? Keep in mind that I'm fairly new to doing anything to my bike.

Since I have the damping rod already done this is just a bolt up job. Damping rod work was done by Traxion.
Don't forget to order the special washer for the adjustable caps.
adjustable caps are $18 from http://store.azmusa.com/svfronfor.html
Hint: do not remove upper tube from the forks unless your going to service the seals. It's not necessary when installing emulators or springs.
Cut preload at 15mm for adjustable caps ... with caps turn up (lowest preload).
Stock preload from factory is 25mm. Adjust preload to your own needs.

I'll be removing the triples and replacing them in addition to the pre-load caps and springs. Will I be able to do all of this w/o removing the upper tube?
Also what exactly do the emulators do? I know that they help the suspension, but how?

the sv's has old style Damping Rod type forks. It's either too mushy or too hard and and not good bottoming resistance. Cartidge type forks do a much better job. Emulators pretty much make the SV forks work like Cartridge forks.
'both plush and firm at the same time. Not mushy yet not harsh with great feel and bottoming resistance.'

I ended the auction. BioTek it's yours. I'll ship items free to you. Or if you want them installed just come on over and I'll install them for you. I'm in West LA. Busy this weekend cause I'm going to the trackday on Sunday.
Golden your next on the list if BioTek does not take it.
PM'ed you. Got your PM. It'd too early to call you.
