My brother still reminds me of the time I supposedly "made" him watch a movie that featured an evil tiki doll and how it scarred him for life. Considering that was 25+ years ago, neither of us can remember what it was, though.
Does that ring any bells with anyone here? It's possible it was an episode of Twilight Zone or Night Stalker or one of that ilk.
Being the loving, caring, sensitive big sister, I would love to anonymously send him a tiki doll like the one in the movie.
lol..
i wish i could help you dear..
but 25 years ago?
i was still a twinkle in my dads eye.

There were, but the Professor was the most frightening thing on that island.
The movie/show I'm trying to remember featured a tiki that stalked and killed. Kind of like Chucky, only not animated.

Sorry, before my time. :p :D
Maybe it's this movie? Trilogy of Terror

"What's better that watching Karen Black get chased around her apartment by a little screaming tiki doll armed with a spear?
... In 1975, long before Childs Plays Chucky and The Bride of Chucky scared audiences with killer dolls, there was the film, TRILOGY OF TERROR, where Oscar nominated and 2 time Golden Globe winning actress Karen Black met a razor-fanged plaything that led to stabbings, drowning and immolation."

THAT'S IT!!! You're my hero, Paul!!
Oh yes, Yule has come early this year.... Cannot wait to begin the torture of my little brother. No matter how old one gets (:finger: BioTek, Vostok, et al...) the torturing of younger siblings never loses its fun. MUWAHAHAHAHA!
I remember that movie! That freaked me out too...

Hehe, Jen, it really was a truly frightening movie, even as campy as it was.
My little bro (he's not little now -- 33yo, 6'1", husband and father, decorated veteran of two wars) has lasting scars from that movie. I can hear him now, when he opens his very own Zuni fetish doll anonymously sent to him. "Dude, that is SO not funny."
This will get back at him for the time he found my hidden birth control pills, and in his youthful innocence asked my mom, "Hey, what are these?" I think I'm still on restriction from that...
I had to watch that movie in a TV production Class. Pretty Freaky stuff.

You should have hidden the pills in a different place...then you'd have more brothers to torture with the Zuni fetish dolls. :D

Haha...reminds me of when my sisters bag spilt open as she was leaving the house with her boyfriend and a stash of condoms fell out on the floor right in front of my dad, that was fucking priceless. Oh the terror in her eyes. Even better was the look of terror in the boyfriends eyes! :D
