Anyone want to play Hookey on Fri. and ride................

I was thinking of riding instead of working on Fri. I know...bad SV'er, bad SV'er. Anyone interested. Maybe meet at the Rock Store and ride the cyns. or head up to the Ojai area?

I'm very interesting in riding with you Friday. I'm a college student with the freedom to do whatever. I live in Irivine and I hear that it is bit of a trip to go all the way to Ventura. If the other OC SV-ers what to go up I'm more than willing. When and where are you meeting? I hope not too early, I don't want to have to wake up by 8...and do you have some directions for me? Keep me posted.

To the Other "Craig" and everyone else,
It really depends on you guys time-wise and where you'd like to ride, etc.
There's tons of places to go: Santa Monica Mtns,(Rock Store, Mulholland, Decker, Stunt, Encinal, etc.) or up towards Ojai on the 150 or 33 or around Lake Casitas, etc..
So, I know you guys would be making a trek so I'd be happy to take you anyplace up here that you'd like to ride.
As far as time, again it's really up to you. We probably don't want to get started too late, but late enough to avoid any traffic in the morn..
I can plan a meeting place and time dependent on where everyone(or anyone) would like to ride.
I'll check the board to see if anyone wants to play hookey, or pg. me at 805-672-4306. Then maybe it would be easiest to plan over the phone as well as the board if you guys are coming up together.

Like I said, I'm really interested in going. I heard lots of great things about all those places mentioned. I don't mind the hike of the 405 or whatever, just as long as the riding portion makes up fo it. Brad, if you want to go let me know. I would be happy leaving the Irvine area or where ever about 9am. Hopefully trafic won't be too bad by then. Any ideas on a meeting place? I don't know my way around SoCal yet, but I'm willing to learn. Let me know what you guys think. I'll be at the Rock Store at 11am on Friday if any of you want to meet up. I live in the San Fernando Valley and the Rock Store is just a short hop away. I'll have another rider with me and don't forget the Rock Store is closed during the week. Also, on Sunday there will be 3 SV riders (counting myself) at the Rock Store at noon if you all want to meet up.

I think our first goal is to ride all the RockStore area roads, since they're a little closer to us... Even so, it'll take us a good 1 1/2 hours to get up there. If you don't get this until after 9, leave a message, I plan to bring a map to get us to that area at least...

O.K., I just talked to Brad and he and the "other" Craig are driving up from Newport(what studs). So, I gave him directions to the Rock Store where we are going to try and meet Mark and friend at 11am.
Anyone else....that's the plan. Pg. me with any questions. I'll be leaving my house at 10:15-10:30-ish.
