X-rated version of "what to wear"......

Inspired by the thread about apparel, I just wondered what everyone wears under their Leathers/riding pants during the warmer weather?
No, I'm not talking about your skivies,thongs,or g-strings, but about stuff like "silks", etc.
i.e., "under stuff" to help keep your legs etc. cooler than just rubbing up against the nylon-type liners that most "riding" pants use.
O.K. so fess up...what do you wear under your knickers?

a cheaper way to go 'cuz I am a girl is to wear tights.
It's under $10. You can just tell your buddies they are nylon pant liners. Come on be secure in your manhood.
For the top - long sleeve nylon or cotton shirt

Are we talking cotton tights or what?
I've worn Lycra type bicycle "tights" in the winter for warmth and don't have a problem wearing them, it's just that they would be too hot for summer. I figure there must be some great product out there for this purpose? I'm probably going to try silks next as I have a set....but, you know, always looking for something better.:D
Also, the silks don't seem to hold up too well:rolleyes:

I've got a lot of spandex type clothes (don't ask) so I tend to wear those.... and on occasion I wear my fishnet shirt.

In the heat......... A pair of running shorts and a t-shirt.

I have bicycle type spandex... I never got into that 80's rock spandex stuff. No sequins for this boy!!

And the fishnet shirt is just to feel sexy! LOL I actually wore it to my prom.

I also have a set of Patagoina lightweight silks that I wear under my jeans in the morning commute to work.

Mine are black ;) They are sorta like really thin long johns. Check your local Eddie Bauer store or catalog, I don't see them online. It's 100% silk. Oh, from the tag, retail item #8374, catalog item #8374. I got them 2 years ago, think it was about $20. I don't know how it compares to what Bohn sells, these CoolMax (http://www.actionstation.com/coolmax.html) things I've seen other people wear.

The "silks" are also available at most sporting good type stores. I guess people wear them under their skiing outfits too. It sounds like your Eddie Bauer versions have lasted longer than any that I have tried.
So, It sounds like most everyone is using the same stuff..Lycra/spandex or silks. The cool-max things might be better...who knows? Anyone tried those?

WHen I wear leathers, I put baby powder on, undies, the pants and a tank top and jacket ... that's it ...

The babypowder makes it so i can remove the leathers, otherwise they just stick to me so badly I have to wait until I cool down ... and that pretty much sucks ... or I sit in the bathroom for 10 minutes, sweating to death, becoming progressivly more angry while I'm trying to get the things off my calves ...

I pretty much ALWAYS wear thongs, I don't own much of anything else ... but w/the leathers you can't tell any way ... :)

Ok, so I'm cheap, but I didn't want to shell out for leathers, so I got a JR Ballistic Jacket and Ballistic Pants (for cool weather), Pheonix Pants (for warm weather).

Does that make me a :squid: ?

When I'm commuting, I wear whatever I plan to wear at work. If I'm wearing jeans, I have tall leather boots (Timberland). If I'm wearing shorts under the riding pants, I wear my Sidi boots.

When I'm out for fun or touring, I wear REI lightweight silk long underwear (www.rei.com) over a pair of silk boxers. When it's cooler, I wear progressively warmer long underwear, maxing out at form fitting fleece sweats. I wear high cotton fluffy tube socks under my Sidi Vertebra boots and tuck in the pants.

Now you know... Sorry you asked? ;)

Hmmm... I mean I've only met/ridden with Leigh once, and I did ride behind her on the crest. She wasn't wearing leathers... I was watching the road, but that wasn't all I was watchin'. ;) I didn't notice any thongs. But I guess that's the idea... No unsightly lines to mess up those smooth curves... Oh, I meant we were carving nice lines throught the smooth curves.. um, on the crest.... :o
