Well it's just a couple of weeks away from the biggest presidential election in decades. The country is very divided over who they support. You either love Bush or you hate Bush (don't think anyone really loves Kerry) and everyone is adamant that their candidate will win. But what if your candidate doesn't win? Then what will you do? The candidate you hate is now the president. What do you think you will find yourself doing the weekend after the election if your candidate doesn't win?

I'd go for a ride... on Washington! Who's with me?!?

(BTW, no one in their right mind would move to Canadia, after all they'd die from bad drugs.)

For the record, me luv Kerry long time! :o

It's pretty much a moot point.
Democracy doesn't work with an uninformed electorate.

Four more years of a president who only serves the interests of his political base.

Support Kerry, if he is elected, the resultant internecine gridlock would ensure that it would be slightly more difficult to pass population-screwing legislation.

There was no option for moving to Australia... lots of great riding there I hear.

I actually agree with this to some extent.. except that I couldn't bring myself to vote for Kerry. However, our government is purposely designed to not be efficient (except in times of national emergency). Who wants more byzantine and costly regulations passed quickly? Blehh.

Dictatorships are pretty damned efficient - so were kingdoms (which was part of our motivation to off-load that shipment of Lipton's into Boston Harbor awhile back.)

I don't want them being efficient in the regulatory sense, but it would be nice if governments could be more efficient in the fiscal sense.

Just my thoughts.

Somehow I doubt many of us Bush fans would consider Canada the place to go if Kerry gets elected.
