In other words, how well does it match the paint on an '02 SVS Blue?

I have a tiny chip on the tank that I'd like to clean up before any rust starts to form. I was thinking of ordering the primer/paint/clearcoat pens from color-rite, but I want to know how well the blue matches. If not, any other suggestions?

Also, the chip is probably about 2mm in width at the widest point. Is there any point to sanding it? I'm not even sure I could sand an area that small without touching anything else.

Thanks.

i wouldnt sand it, as you suggested it may be too difficult to just get that spot without messing up to much stuffaround it. depending on the position of chip, i wouldnt stress on the color matching too much, something that small in a spot thats not readily seen may not be a good enough reason to stress over perfect match of colors. anyone else?

color rite as a whole isn't bad but it's expensive if you go that route get the pen thing. also if you keep it waxed it isn't going to rust

Thanks for the comments. Is there anything better than Color-Rite? I don't care if it costs more, I just want the best match.

unless Suzuki makes something or you chance upon something in an auto store. I think the advantage is they do all the funky specialty colors that are hard to find. Most dealers will want you to buy a case to get some touch up paint. I used it for the gold on the frame when I had a ducati and it matched really well.
