How many of you have seen this gear?
I've only seen one add thus far(in the latest Road Racer X ) and they have a website (http://www.motosquad.com/home.html)
From what I can tell, the gear is VERY resonably priced. Their "top of the line" gloves look similar to the Alpinestars GP Pro but is half the price.
This gear is "fully endorsed" by MotoGP(whatever that means), but I have yet to see any GP riders wearing any of it.
Thoughts , opinions, comments?
I actually took a look at a few jackets today. The stuff looked pretty well built. I didn't think it would look that good because of the price point, what a surprise.

They carry their gear at kneedraggers (http://www.kneedraggers.com) it looks like it's some pretty nice kit.

They are apparently related to Arlen Ness and Berik Design. Don't know anything about either of those two companies, but I guess that is who is manufacturing them. I think Ben Bostrom and Shinya Nakano are sponsored by them as well.
Kangaroo hide is supposedly more abrasion and tear resistant than cow leather, but I read something about it not breathing as well and that sweat degrades it quickly. Anybody know for sure?
They don't mention the thickness or the seam construction anywhere. I'm guessing it's really thin and single-stitched patchwork due to the price.

Kangaroo is also lighter than cow. My gloves have kangaroo leather on the palms. They've held up fine, though my palms don't sweat that much.
I have one of the grid jackets. It is 40 degrees here in TX, and it is keeping me warm. I have had it on up to 80 with out the liner in. It has been a good jacket so far.

"*We're sorry, but this suit cannot be sold in the Nazi controlled states of Kalifornia and New York due to the Kangaroo hide used."
Good price! I might have to check this out for a 1-pc

In terms of the breathability, my hands can sweat a bit, and I haven't noticed any problem whatsoever with the 'roo hide on my gloves.

wouldn't doubt that would be cooler/colder than regular leather, since kangaroo leather is usually thin
I had some roo palms and after about 2 years the sweat caused the palm to crack for what it's worth.

That happened to my old cow hide gloves too. Think we just need to show the leather some love and condition it regularly.

Anyone here race in Motogp leathers (cow hide)? Found a pretty good deal online and would like to hear some feedback about the product. Anyone crash in them? If so, how did they hold up? Need to buy a new one piece for beginner racer / trackdays. Thanks!

Well, just received my compression kangaroo suit yesterday. Got it from www.motorcyclecloseouts.com. $610 shipped. They are selling the cowhide for $499. Ordering process was easy and the product was shipped the next day via UPS ground. I have no affiliation with this website.
Bought a size 46. I'm right around 6'2" and just under 190lbs (depending on the day and what I ate). The fit is pretty good, but I don't have much to compare against. My prior suit was a Teknic two piece. It was a bit of a struggle to get the suit on, but I guess that's a good thing. I felt like I had to dislocate my shoulder to get into the thing. Compared to my two piece, it felt much more snug and secure and now I know why all you people with one piece suits walk around hunched over and arms hanging out. Standing up straight, the crotch is a little tight, but in riding position it's fine. There's some room in the gut / lower back area, but I think a back protector will fill that space and I now have an excuse to drink more beer and eat more wings. There's a little room in the forearm and lower leg areas, but I'm kind of scrawny in those areas. The suit is light and the smell of new leather is intoxicating. For the price and the kangaroo hide, I think it's a pretty good deal. Just makes me wonder how much retailers are truly making when they sell the suits for $800 - $900. Hopefully I never have to road test the leathers to see if kangaroo hide is truly more rugged than cowhide. Pavement hurts, no matter what kind of hide I'm wearing.
