New to me racebike

Hi guys,

I just picked up an 01 racebike. It was raced by Matt McBride here in our SV Cup and won the championship in 01. It got raced afew times by a journalist the following year and then once at Daytona? by colin Fraser (a guru up here). So it's got a total of 1900 km on it! I'm going to make it a street/track bike over the winter.

But it seems to have cannibalized a bit while sitting at mcbride's in Toronto for the past bit. I'll be posting a few things that I need as I come upon them. Any and all help figuring this bike out is appreciated! It seems like a few "sneaky" mods have been done to the bike....

Right on! but

ha! true enough! It looks pretty nasty now:
-the race bodywork was pretty ugly
-the tank was dented pretty good
-no seat!

so I made a deal to swap the race bodywork with new stuff and get the tank repaired and all of it painted sv silver. this'll take a few weeks...but when I get the stuff together I'll post pics.

my wife was not impressed to see me trailer home a bike with no bodywork, tank or seat...."you paid how much for that?"!:D
