i just bought a pair of electric gloves and i'm looking into wiring them to my bike. i'd like to place an on/off switch on the blank part of the right control pod. i was also thinking of pulling power, 20 watts, off the engine kill switch to power them since the kill switch is already fused and is right next to where i want to mount the switch.
also, does anyone know of a good weather proof on-off switch?

20 watts at 12 volts is only 1.7 amps. The kill switch should be able to handle that easily, but if you are taking power from the battery side and sending it straight to the new switch the capacity of the kill switch shouldn't even be an issue

On the naked SV at least, there's an unused headlight connector that could be put to use for your purposes.
