I just installed my standard mount scorpion ss pipe. Great sound.

First thing I had noticed is I now have have some water/ condenstion dripping out of the bottom of the slip on ( front, bottom of can where inlet piece is strapped and rivited to the body of the can). I never noticed this with the stock can but then again the stock can is pretty sealed up. I know the weather is changing and getting somewhat cold 60 -65* degrees high, 40* degrees low. Should I worry about this? Is this normal?

Second, on the install, the pipe had to be pushed over about an 1-2 inches to get the bolt through the strap and through the passanger foot peg to be secured. Did anyone else have to do this with thier slip ons?

Thanks for your help.

had to get mine over a bit when i mounted mine....as for water try plugging the end pipe with a exhaust plug or rag ...do you leave the bike outside? it could be that...

Water is a byproduct of combustion. Once it warms up fully the heat will turn the water to steam and you won't notice it. Until then you will see a bit of water coming out the tip or maybe out the little drain hole that many mufflers have on the bottom.

My scorpion leaks too. I don't think it is much of a problem though.
