Had a pair of Metzler Sportec M-1's put on my bike this past week. My bike seems to have come to lfe in the canyons. It seems to corner with so much less effort than with the stock Dunlop sportmax tires. I didn't think there would be such a difference. Well worth the money.

Other upgrades to my naked bike. Givi A602 windscreen. Can ride the freeways for long periods with this thing and not get blown all over the place, but you will need a good set of earplugs with this windscreen.

Thought about a slip on pipe but dealer is kind of iffy if something hapens to the bike with aftermarket pipe and the warranty. Will wait until warranty is done.

An aftermarket pipe isn't going to have much of a detrimental affect. It may cause the bike to run leaner. If you want to smooth out power delivery and get the fuel:air mixture at a good ratio (with or without a pipe), get a power commander.

How do you like the tires compared to the stock?

I used to fishtail under braking with stock tires. Never happened after I got m1s

You should be wearing earplugs no matter what kind of windscreen or helmet you have.

I think the M1's are the best tire but they wear faster than a sport touring tire but I will take the grip vs. wear any day. Good move on your part gettting them.

I agree....putting on M1s is one of the best upgrades for the money.
