View Full Version : Anything to lower the pegs???

I've seen stuff to raise pegs all over the place. However, I'm wondering if there's anything, such as an aftermarket attachment, that would lower the pegs or move them forward (preferably both?).

The reason I ask is that the years have taken a toll on my right knee. On my 2003SVS after 1/2 hr it gets achy, after an hour I've got to stop and get off the bike due to being hiked up and tucked in for while.

would anything get my feet down by where the 1st gen SV pegs are placed that anyone knows about?

Thanks.

The pegs from the Naked 650 are 1" forward and 1" down as compared to the SVS, I believe. This is for BOTH Generations. They should just bolt right on, shouldn't they? The Naked 1000 has the SVS pattern, identical to the SVS 650/1000.

Cheers, Doug

I made my own re-locator plates for mine. I first tried for 2 inches backand 1 inch down but the back of my brake pedal hit my pipe so I made a new set that were 2 inches back at the same height. They work great for me.

I picked up a set off another board that lower down and back, it's better then stock. They are the same ones selling on ebay as rear set jack up plates, I just mounted them upside down.

Cool. I'll definitely try this stuff out. If I can't find anything I think I know a couple of people who might be able to fab me up something.

At least that's the idea.
