This game kicks ass. It's much more fun running against 15 other real people the the computer AI. Every now and then you get some wooden head who decides to run the track backwards but that seems fairly rare. If you have an XBox and like race games, you gotta get Live when it's released.

i havent played that game yet, I was thinking about it but everytime I go to gamespy theres only like 3ppl there, so I just play halo online like 8ppl at a time... man that game is so much fun.... I can play and play and play the day away... seems like a waste of a day, sometimes but I cant stop..... hehe Ill have to try that game...
Maybe we should play each other at our next Gathering... we're approaching 300 members...

I kind of like RS. Motorcycle games in general suck. They usualy end up using car physics with motorcycle graphics. RS and MotoGP are the exceptions as far as I'm concerned. I like the physics model in MotoGP better but the production bikes and upgrade options in RS are fun to play around with.

I heard the same thing from IGN PS2. Too bad...maybe they'll get it better the next two times. Motorcycle games do suck though...EXCEPT EXCITEBIKE 64. That was the shiznit. That game will help you build an interest in dirt donkey-ing. All the other MX/street games aren't nearly as good physics-wise as they should be. IMO

Is awesome. I would love to try it with real humans some time. The computer opponents are too easy..I even win on Legend mode. It's fun building up your bike with all the races...great game.

THE GAME ROCKS...the distortions that occur durring high speeds looks Awsome....ITS LIKE YOUR REALLY RIDING. aNYONE WHO DOSN'T LIKE THE GAME HAS PROBLEMS!!!!!!!! LOL

Hey Paul...I've never played the PC version but I don't think it's the same as the XBOX version.

I felt the same way about the computer opponents. I smoked the PS2 version, got bored and haven't played it in months. Playing online, against real people, I feel pretty good about a top 5 finish. It's much more fun.

I haven't tried it yet, but I did buy it tonight along with Midnight Club II. Toys R Us is having a buy two get one free sale on PS2 games.

let me know if that Midnight club game is any good for bikes.
I've got Riding Spirits and MotoGP2 and 3 for the PS2. Riding spirits is alright, its like the gran turismo of motorcycles. Once you get past getting used to the delayed reaction, the game is cool. MotoGP is decent, but just like the rest of the games, the puter riders suck.

Got both MotoGo 2 and 3. They're basically the same except 3 has the NEW Gp bikes... like the RC211V and others...
MotoGP3 is cool. New bikes, 3 new real world courses, and it has some really bizarre 2 player courses that are a lot of fun to try out.
I also liked Riding Spirits but it's not a fun game to just pick up and play. You have to sit there a while trying to figure out how everything works and all the timing. Also you definitely need to buy soft tires to stand any chance of staying upright. I've never managed to win a duel. Came close but never got a pass in. My biggest complaint is the lighting model. It's totally screwed up since there's no ambient light. if you fall into shadow, you get total darkness. The night courses I have totally given up on trying.

That's the joys of the PS2 hardware, VERY LIMITED. I have both a XBOX and PS2 (got the PS2 for Vice City, which is now coming out for PC DAMNIT), and the XBOX makes the PS2 look like a "last-gen" in graphics...even in games like Vice City.
MotoGP2 from THQ for XBOX should drop sometime in May.
From the rumor mill:
4 Stroke Bikes (but only from the 2002 season, so expect the Kawi and Aprillia and Suzuki to suck, which they sort of do) and 2 stroke bikes
All the tracks (no stupid locked tracks like last time)
Full adjustability:Suspension, Tire Compounds, Gearing, etc
Better graphics
Bug fixes (like those pussies that cheat by cutting the track)
Hopefully better control in the lobbies once Online...
Can you say "Already Preordered?" Good!
I find the graphics in MotoGP3 and Gran Turismo 3 fine. It's just Riding Spirits where the coders for Spike didn't get the lighting effects right. Namco does a great job for the MotoGP series.
I played THQ's MotoGP for the PC and it didn't click with me. I'll stick to my dinosaur PS2 for now. :)

I just got an xbox last thursday. Man, I don't even play my PS2 anymore. Definately looking forward to MotoGP2 for the xbox. Anyone got any games they want to sell. I've got Halo of course. SSX Tricky, and borrowed gauntlet.

do any of you have Live? Maybe we can all "race" against each other sometime. I got the demo version of Moto GP with my purchase of Live. Only played it once. Just got my box last sunday, so I havent had much time to play. Plus, Halo is too much fun.

I got the demo version, but I've only played it once. Can demo users play with people that have the full version?
i have a chip that lets me *backup* games onto a 120GB HD, and play them off that. Unfortunately, I cant play on live with that, so I gotta use the demo

i know this isnt what u wanted, but i enjoyed riding the bikes in midnight club 2.....it's mostly cars, but there r 3 bikes that u can unlock..one looks like a ducati, one a CBR and one i think an R1

I rented it from blockbuster, got a couple games in before it started making grinding noises in my ps2. I didn't care for it much.
