Just got it out of www.aerostich.com and put in on my V tonight. Cool little item. Here is another site that has it for $27

I dunno if you can get it from www.bigbikeparts.com or not.

Voltmeter, clock (12/24 hr), stopwatch, lap counting, thermometers, in/out temperature (useless, unless you want a remote temp, say at the radiator), freeze alert. An alarm sounds when voltage drops below 11VDC. I tapped the power wires into the harness where the ignition switch connects under the front of the tank.

Here is a picture of it on my triple tree (it comes with velcro).
:D

Hmmm, probably just more distractions than I need when on the bike

Although it was the thought that counts, I'd buy a GoldWing if I wanted some gizmos and gadgets that weren't entirely necessary... but I can see how that would be convenient for people touring and such.

Alright, I admit it... I'm a geek, and I need oodles of crap attached to the bike... but I'm to cheap to get a Goldwing.

The current list: GPS, Heated Grips, and just added heated vest.

The GPS has a voltage readout on it, but it's slow updating, only does .5 increments, and I have no idea if I can trust it.

With all these gidjets, I'd like to know what kind of load the bike is under while I ride. I've been looking around trying to find in-line voltmeters like the one reviewed here, but that thing's just tacky.. and way more than I want.

Does anyone have any experience with any simple digital readout in-line voltmeters that would also be water-proof? Am I asking too much?
