what about coming into a parking spot and turning a 180 then at full right lock in neutral about 2 mph you put your put foot down on wet moss growing in the parking lot and the rear tire finds the same moss but decides to go the other way, the way that your right foot decided not to go, and you straddle the bike with the slider going up your @$$.......:-& :ass: :monkey: b-(   :-& =D>

damn it, and it bent the CFM brake lever i installed yesterday........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!

That is still funny every time I read it.
Only because you know it has happened, probably more than once.
Not to me though...

Hmmm...yes even in my short time of riding I have done: 6, 9, 18, 36 (dropped), 51 (dropped), and 61. Dayumm.....but I only dropped on 36 and 51...same incident.

They missed one... this was me last thursday.

129. Start to throw the bike down to the right so that you can rip off your helmet and educate the toothless a-hole in the pickup, only to realize the stupidity of your reaction (intentionally grounding the very bike that you're sitting on) so you catch it on the way down and yank it to the left with more force than you can stop.

(Some people <me> should take the bus while quitting smoking.)

My first crash on my last streetbike happened without me.

I keep a cover at work and at home so if it gets crappy, I can cover the bike

We had some rain here at work a couple years ago and I put on the cover... and a couple hours later a no-$hit STORM came up. The cover acted like a big sail and the bike blew over! Bent rear brake lever, busted turn signal, bent front brake lever.

MY BIKE CRASHED WITHOUT ME!!

I can't get no respect!

38 Getting your boot/ shoelace caught on the gearshift. (I wear laceless boots now.)

Early in my riding I almost ate it doing this at a stoplight. Luckily my lace came undone as I put my foot down.

Another time for me is coming up to a right turn on red, slow down and almost stop. It's clear, so instead I let the clutch back out and try to continue but end up stalling mid turn while leaned over. Forgot to downshift. I put my foot down and felt like I squatted my bike with one leg.

#41 got me once.

"41 Pulling out the swing arm stand, and forgetting to put the sidestand down first. "

Only time I dropped my '90 CBR1000F was because of this. Never wear shoes with laces is the lesson I learned.

I did 1 and 2 together at a stop sign.

My father in law did number 97 and hit a bus causing my wife to
hate motorcycles to this day. He owned a motorcycle repair shop.

Hehe... I've done this a few times.... this one pair of shoes had long laces that liked to wrap around the shifter. Most of the time I noticed before I started to lean left at the stop.... so I leaned right and was ok. But once I had to break a shoelace so that I wouldn't fall over.

I did a #79 merging onto the freeway and had to stop quickly. None of the :ass:'s in the cages behind me jumped out to help me pick up my bike!

#16 got me a few times. If I lived in Florida or somewhere, I wouldn't have to worry.

#44 Wet grass sucks.

#61 sucks. Can't be in 2 places at once.

#92 is a nasty one on the dirt bike.

#96 bad.

#100 sucks while riding.

#130 jumping a set of train tracks at a 45 degree angle on your dirtbike. I did this one as a kid. Broke my right wrist...

new one #? unloading my quad out of the truck on aluminum ramp, rolling out too fast slightly sideways, hit front brakes to slow and you keep sliding ....hit the back brake and Backwards wheelie down the ramp into a flip....no fun.....

other way disc lock and a long day...then I had to look for some help to get the bike up...had to ask a kid from my school to help lift it...

Only time I dropped it was due to #5 - the ol' phantom kickstand...

And what's with the kickstarter reference? Is this list like 20 years old?

They forgot to add the one about having a pristine bike, then having your/a mechanic work on it and have him drop it in his damn driveway......

I dunno, but I seen the vid for it a year or so ago. I guess it's a brand new bike and the dudes "ex-buddy" got the first chance to ride it. Good way to "break" it in don'tcha think? I stole it off another board. I wonder which # it is on the list? Looks like a #3 to me...

:D
