LOL well that Gix was suuuper sick. Its not even about the extra power, it was just that the riding position felt so much better to me.

I was browsing around last night and I found a post on the Hypercycles board:

A 2004 gsxr600 for 5k. It had a salvage title because he lowsided it but it had new race unpainted fairings. Check it out on there. Is there any concern with salvage title bikes? Insurance?

Palomar was awesome yesterday. Oh by the way on the way back into town, when we were on the road near Harrah's Dugan and I passed a cop going over 100mph! He tried to turn around but was blocked by traffic. Phew...it was close!!

Yea the salvage title thing is a little bit of work to get insured. And DMV has to look at it too, something about taking it to a shop and they check it out to make sure it is street legal, and then they sign your DMV form.

Not sure about the whole thing...good luck though.

I didn't have any problem getting insurance for my motorhome when it got totalled. The bitch is getting registration with the DMV. You have to jump through a bunch of hoops to register.
