....I'm having trouble trying to make a DVD with this program.....

....it crashes.....when I try to make a wave format file.....

.....it just hangs..........when I try to make the DV AVI file....

....it just hangs.........when I try to make a DVD........

.....I can make other AVI format files (the different compressions and codecs....and stuff)................but when played back my pictures are jaggedy....and stuttery and stuff......

....my question is..............is it because I have the SE version?....which came with my camera and was free..........

....if I upgrade to the full version..........which is tres expensive...........will all of the problems and aggravations go poof?.......

.....any of you have the full version.........I can try out first?...................before I buy...of course....

I don't use pinnacle, so I can't say... Maybe see if you can convert to a premiere project and encode using that. Also, if you encode to a high bitrate format and then use another program to re-encode, that might work as well.

....WHAT??....

...

.........read on their site.....that Pinnacle has issues running in XP with AMD Athlon processors.......

....and this is version 9.3........after a big ass patch....

.....version 9.0 was even worse...........it was borderline useless.....

....their QA department...............need to be taken out into the parkin lot and shot..........

.....terrible......

.....glad I didn't drop a load of cash.........on this product.....

...

.....anyhoot.............just went to Borders and bought me a thick ass text book on Adobe Premiere Pro..........

.....this means I got ta edit the whole thing all over again...........and hopefully I'll have better luck with Adobe....

Premiere is easy enough to use not to need a book for the most part.

....I agree....

....but unfortunately..........that's their only strong point.....

....the program is buggy as hell.................when you try to compile your work.......

...all that work editing...............and I can't produce a good quality DVD cuz of it.....
