Erm...depends how good of a job you can do but I'd go with some aluminium strips from Home Depot and snip it to size, bend it to shape and drill it per requirements.
Good luck.

Check LP. When I got my carbon fiber flyscreen I was able to get the mounting bolts for it as well. They worked perfectly and the whole project took about five minuets.

i've purchased buell parts from a harley dealership. look on the buell website for a dealer locater (will usually point you in the direction of a harley/buell dealer)...call them and ask if they have the parts in stock or will order them
or try ebay

I bought the brackets from the local harley shop. You can make your own, but I didn't have time.
Part numbers:
7047Y Washer 4
59745-97Y Bracket, right 1
59746-97Y Bracket, left 1
AND806.3CBBL Screw 4
M0602.O Well nut 4
Hope this helps!

I could live with that -- it looks awesome!
Samboy -- what bar end mirrors are those? Any complaints/concerns about 'em?

3rd Eye mirrors, I have them on my SV, so far so good, look much better than the ugly bug eye stock ones. You have to physically look down to see with them, but with the stock ones all i saw was my arms anyway.

Really?! Bummer....I managed to get a M2 CF 2 years ago for $89 at Puente Hills Motorsports. It went on a Duc Monster so I had to fab some brackets. I used 1/4 alum rod and aluminum L brackets to mount to the 3-tree. It cost me a whopping $10 to have them welded together after I did all the cutting and measuring.
Parts for Buell are much cheaper than regular Harley parts. Windscreens shouln't be much. Harley just makes thier money on Buells by selling everything separately (nuts, bolts, washers).
If you're really in a bind, I can mold the screen I have and dup it in fiberglass. If you get several people tegether, I can do it for less than $50 apiece.
^ psyeah. CF or BUST yo! :D
I just found another guy molding Buell flyscreens on fleabay, but he wants $90... I guess I'm gonna have to email him..

I have a genuine M2 Cyclone windscreen that's black. There is a bit of scum from the logo that may or may not come off. I assume you'd be repainting it anyways though (certainly a molded one would still have to be painted). I'll sell mine for $45 shipped to your door if you'd like.
anyone know how much a M2 flyscreen? or a good place to buy new or used? I have checked all over the web and can't find a site that gives me a good answer. Did anyone ever make knock offs?
always trying to save a buck. parts are expensive.

they only seem to have a carbon fibre one... wonder if a black plastic one would be cheaper. I'm not the biggest fan of carbon fibre. I am suprised there aren't more cheap knock offs. is a cool windscreen under $100 too much to ask. lol
cheers

Does it have to be the Cyclone screen? I think the Blast has a similar shape and configuration. And probably cheaper.

The Blast has a straighter and slightly taller screen.
The Cyclone screen is very curved and stubby.
Both are available in carbon or the Buell factory plastic.
eBay is your best bet for both.
As for mounting (I put the M2 CF on my Duc) I found that the best route for making one that looks nice is to use 1/4-5/8 aluminum rod and aluminum L-bracket.
I cut it out to a nice shape, drilled holes for fork and screen mounting and had it welded together. Cost me $25 total for the brackets.

I saw the screen I wanted on ebay and it was also posted on this site but his auction is restricted cause he won't ship to canada. damn it.... I feel like I live in the 3rd world. lol
well it looks like I'll have to grab up a carbon fibre buell M2 screen or black if I see one. for some reason I am not a fan of carbon fibre... looks like your trying way too hard unless you race. lol

Did you call a Harley dealership and price out the factory screen?
How much did they want?
ADRATH

I think they wanted $150 or so. I looked at the suzuki OEM flyscreen cause I like it but suzuki wants over $300 here in canada and I don't think so.
