Hey guys, possibly looking to do a conversion from a naked SV to an SVS. I have an 01 candy red. So, to start at least I'll need the upper fairings, windscreen, lights, brackets, etc. If you know you'd have any of the parts then let me know.

Why druiid? I like the nakeds...you just want wind protection or what?

Mainly for wind protection, yeah. Although the fairing I had on my bike was kinda crappy, it at least shielded me from the wind. So now that I don't have it, I miss it in that respect. All of the after-market fairings for the SV are either ugly or overpriced (so much so that I'll be able to do a conversion for cheaper). So, yep, other than wind protection I'd stay naked. Thanks in advance.

wouldn't it be easier to sell your bike and buy an svs model, unless you like workin on your bike

Not really, due to milage on it, I doubt it would be worth it.

dizzam, did you buy it brand new, if so were your monthly payments like 10 bucks a month:eek: un-dent the tank or find one off ebay i'm sure you can sell it at 3500 or somewhere round it, then you can get another 1st gen svs for round that price (i personally like the 1st gens over the 2nd)

Well, I bought my gear with it... so not all the cost was the bike itself. As far as selling it I probably wouldn't do so unless a true need to do so arose.

I have a stock 02' Windscreen and I think I have the OEM front blinkers as well...the blinkers will need new connectors because I cut them off.

I have a left side upper, the center fairing, windsceen and headlight. No fairing stay.
Make me an offer. :)
(they would need to be painted, body pieces are dark gray)

Don't know what the pieces are worth, Gregg.. so let me try to find comprable prices on those pieces so I don't give too low a price. Thanks!
Jackie.. don't need the turn-signal, so I'm good there. As for the windscreen, are we just talking the clear windscreen or the whole upper fairing?

I've got the whole front end plastics in SVS red... except for the fairing stay and the dash.
...the headlight is available too... no turn signals

For the 01 red? I have the 01 candy red, so if it's not that.. I'd have to get it repainted. Let me know. Also, are they in good condition, or scratched up?

Teeny crack in non-mounting area. it's the red that most SV's came with. The maroon red... not the light colored red. No repainting necessary at all.

Well, do you know what pricing you were looking to get for it or did you want me to make an offer on it... also, you have pics of it?
