..Not the General, you perverts! I just put these on, and it really cleans up the lines, with a much lower-looking profile. Went on with no problems, and view is much improved.

So how well do they work?
Where did you get them?
How much did they cost?

I've got the same mirrors on mine. They are a huge improvement over the stock insect antennae. I can actually see something other then my shoulders. I've had 'em for almost 2 years so I have no recollection of what they cost. I also think the look much better.

One issue, the black paint seems to be of questionable quality. I'm starting to get some slight peeling and they are seriously sun faded. A little Mother's Back to Black will probobly take care of that part but I havn't gotten around to it yet.

Nice mirrors - definitely an improvement from stock. I considered getting the barend but decided to go with the regular napoleons.
This was taken at night with a flash. I put blue rim tape on my wheels to offset the blue seat cowl. I placed the extra on the tank. The tape is higly reflective when light hits it so it serves a dual purpose - safety at night.

Dude, that tape looks really cool. What is it called? Where can you get it?

.. Pro Italia in Glendale, a total Italian bike headquarters. I got them for $34.99 each, you can get them on the net for up to $10.00 cheaper, but with shipping and the hassle of returning them if they didn't work out I just bit the bullet. I haven't taken a long ride with them yet, but everyone whlo has them swears they are better than stock. I bought them mostly for the aesthetics.

Yeah, yeah, bro. Show off that tape, not to mention your new Yosh RS3. Heh, heh...

The tape looks bad-ass. I saw a GSXR the other night that had a neon blue light mounted under the lower fairing. Really cool effect, and plus it illuminated his bike very effectively.;)

i like those bar end mirrors, Kurt, they had something like that at Cycle Gear, it wasnt Napolean brand, but it looked identicle. i think they were like 16 bux apiece. The bar end mod on my bike works awesome, and i cost me a whopping 99 cents for the copper part to make it all work.... i bought aftermarket mirrors, and they were all garbage..

Sandie.. how are yoru working for you...?

peace... Pb.

The tape is from tapeworks.com. They have several colors in several shades. They sent me samples of about 10 different shades of blue before I ordered the one I liked best. It's $20 for a roll, which is good for one bike.

The tape was a cheap way of adding blue to the bike to offset the blue seat cowl. I thought about repainting the bike blue but that would have cost around $600 - so I save $580.

Troy, we've got to hit crest this weekend - maybe sunday since it's suppose to rain on saturday. sunday is a slower ride but more to see at Newcombs with all the bikers hanging out.

I kinda like the effect, I think... I didn't get it on very cleanly... Will have to put it up on my stands when I do the rear and the other side of the front.

Who needs tirefly's? ... "What lights, officer?"

go on ebay and type in bar end mirrors. The seller is first kick cycles and the mirrors kick ass. Plus they are $29 plus shipping. The kinda break when you crash though.
