Here's a big ass tip for you potential SQUIDS out there............... you know who you are........
DO NOT!................ I repeat.......... DO NOT ever slow down to a running pace on a blind curve ( with the exception of emergency situations ...... of course).
Some squids today gave me a near-wetter by pulling this stupid-shit stunt.
A bunch of squids passed us (us = Lin, Burst, and myself) at the bottom of the Ortega at the start of the run. We were polite and held back so they can pass us. We proceeded at a casual pace until we hit the first tight curve........... then I let loose. As I was going up, I can see that we were basically catching up to these guys.................. but they were still plenty far ahead. After a few more curves.............. half way into one, on a hard lean.......... I see these "FUCKTARDS" (2 of them anyway) suddenly infront of me............. going about 15mph......... if even that fast. They were side by side (yeah,....like the CHiPs guys on TV). I wasn't about to go into the opposite lane and face possible oncoming traffic. I had no where to go. Soooo....... after holding back the immense need to pee.............. I put on the brakes.......... as hard as I dare. Turned out fine......... no prob here............. except I wanted to do great harm to these individuals.
And you know why they were going so slow?.......... I'm guessing it's because they wanted to create a bigger gap between them and the closest car so they can roll it on the next few curves.
Now people.......... I've seen good riders do this............. I (one of the not so good riders) do this......... BUT I DO IT ON THE STRAIGHT AWAY....... WHEN IT IS SAFE and where there is also plenty of visibility for the people behind me to see exactly what I'm doing. I also pulled to the right hand side so I DO NOT HOLD ANYBODY UP........ or more importantly........so that I DO NOT ENDANGER ANYBODY AROUND ME!!!!......................... bastards.
I should have forced them over and..... and..... and........
........ask them if either of them have a sister.
