Went riding yesterday at Palomar. It was a spur of the moment thing. My neighbor (who rides a Falco) was bored, so he asked me if I wanted to go to Palomar. I said "sure". I was just going to paint the garage, but............... it's call priorities, people.

Got into my leathers. He went home to get into his............. and away we went. We noticed how light the traffic was, even on the freeway (to be specific.... the 15). We were in no hurry, so we just cruised at around 75 to 80 mph. I always enjoy people (especially the chicks) gawking when I'm in full leathers.

Soooo.............. when we got off the freeway, my neighbor told me that he's just going to be cruising. "So if you wanna pass me, go ahead and pass me" he said with a tire tone. Knowing how uneasy I am with Palomar, I'm thinking " I don't think so....". But my reply came out " I'll probably just be cruising too......" trying to sound as cool as possible.

We hit the tight side, going up. After the first 2 or 3 turns, the neighbor was gone. " Damn it.... I thought he was just going to cruise "... I was mumbling. A minute later I caught glimpses of his tail section. "Cool, I'm catching up......... wow... I'm faster than I thought." Yeah..... right. I finally saw why I was catching up to him. There was another biker in front of him riding 2 up on a red Kawasaki ZRX-1200R. This slowed him down enough for me to catch up momentarily. When he (the neighbor) found a suitable place to pass........... well, he went bye bye....... again. Atleast now I'm catching up to this ZRX guy and his girlfriend. He was going a pretty descent pace so I had no great desire to pass him. Any faster and my butt cheeks would start twitching. In any other circumstances, this would be fun.......... but not while riding a bike.

Now..... being paced by the ZRX guy may be a good thing....... but maybe not. Because during the whole run up, instead of having 100% of my attention on the road......... I had about 30% of it on the road. The remaining percentage went to his girlfriends' ass. Nothing like a tight pair of jeans on a superbly formed rump in a stradle position. I was mesmerized. Knowing that I should not be distracted....... no matter how exquisite the cause is......... I tried, but in vain, to focus all of my attention on the road. My mind said "The Road ..... concentrate on the road...... asshole." But my genes cried was overwelming " The ASS..... oh yes.....The ASS...... get closer Jack-ass!"

Luckily, like I said before, the pace wasn't fast. So I can afford to slack off a bit and enjoy.......... the scenery  When we reached the restaurant at the top, my neighbor was already there waiting for me............ the bastard. I followed the ZRX into the parking lot and parked it. Took my helmet and gloves off. Asked my neighbor " Thought you were just going to cruise?" ........ He replied " I was cruising"........... The bastard. Proceeded to the gift shop to get some drinks. But on the way I passed by the ZRX guy and his girl friend. Had to struck up a conversation just because I wanted to get a closer look at that magnificent peace of craftmanship that is called "her ass". Every cell in my body wanted to cry out " Can I take you home and use your bare naked ass as a pillow for tonight?" But my fear of bodily harm (by either of them) snapped me to my senses. Anyway....... we had a nice conversation about bikes...... drank our sodas...... and went our different ways.

I'll stop here.

Not a very exciting story....... no maiming.........no near misses........ just a July 4th at Palomar that I wanted to share.
