Just got a Factory stage 1 jet kit for the sv for xmas and it doesn't seem to be working. Just finished installing it but I don't see any change as far as engine performance. What the hell am I doing wrong!?

Troy's going to have a similar problem since he got one for xmas too - in case you're wondering, Troy, you didn't think we'd get you one without getting myself one too did you?

:)

Here's what I did for those of you who do know how to install one. I tried following past threads and instructions on rejetting but I can't understand what the hell anyone is talking about. Help!

That's too funny! You're classic, bro....:) But, I think you were supposed to use electrical tape. Maybe that's the prob.

Anyone out there with the expertise to jet 4 carbs? Name your price-lunch, beer, $$'s. ;)

Drumrboy, who's first name right now I can't remember, went through two rejets in a few hours during a maintenance day. There is plenty of people who know how to do it. I know how to do it once the carbs are actually pulled, but the disconnecting and everything else was done while I was putting on my new pipe. :D Sorry I can't be more help, but I'm sure there are plenty of people that will give you a hand.

Thanks. Had it polished in Lakewood for about $15 from a guy named me.

It took me a month to finish - I wasn't able to work on it everyday so I took my time. The hardest part is taking the paint off - it took me about 8 hours to hand sand one side of the frame. I used hand tools to take off the other side's paint. Once the paint was off, I used different sandpapers in varying grades up to a 2000 grit, wet sanding. Finished the whole thing with Mother's Polish.

Good one. I would, however, help out as long as you come up to my place along with a six-pack of coronas. And if you want some beers, I suggest you bring some more for yourself.
