Editing album title

How do you edit the album title, or put "Photo's by ..." on the album page?

All the photos that I uploaded, Paul did it. I couldn't figure it out either.

I can't even get it to work ... I can't upload the photos (i let paul upload them but i didn't like how they were organized so they were deleted again) ...

and it looks like hpphoto changed their format so now it's difficult toa ccess the pictures. yay.

The album title can be changed under the "Properties" in the picture indexes view. The "Description" as well as the album title can be changed in the album indexes view (drop down selections right under the album highlight photo), if you have the right permissions.

Album Options menu also appears near the upper left corner inside your album. You can change the Album Title and Properties there as well.

I moved your album (GP bikes) to the "Miscellaneous" album.

Make sure you have cookies enabled/accepted and have logged in at http://www.socalsvriders.org (ie, not .../forums) before uploading pics, otherwise you may have problems.

Hmmm...I don't remember that changing the title on album page. Oh well, it works now. Guess I don't have that permission for the album indexes view.
Hey Paul, I noticed on my SF album, my options are limited, and in the members album section I have permission to edit other peoples pictures. I don't think I'm the only one because one of my captions changed.

Is it better now? Thanks for letting me know. Some of the older, "pre-integrated" albums have weird permissions that I forgot to reset.

What up everyone, i'm new to the board and was trying to create an album to post pics from my ride up to Julian and Tamecula, but every time i click the "create new album" button it tells me to "rename the album under the options menu to album properties, ok?" I have no idea what it wants me to do i don't know what options menu it's talking about. I'm also working from a mac! thanks guys. here's a pic from 78 on the way to Julian.

When you click create album there is a drop down menu in the left upper side of the screen...that's album properties. I don't know what the compatibility is with Mac's though...Paul should be able to help. Works on window's is all I can say.

You "should" see 2 alerts. The first one would ask if you really want to create a new album that you may not be able to delete. The second one asks you to rename the album title.

I'm pretty sure it works on a Mac too. Maybe it's a browser related issue (ie, pop-up blocking, javascript disabled).

I'll try to stop by the Apple Store sometime and debug it.
