View Full Version : So what's the deal with f3 rims?
Why are they so much better than the stock rim?
I'll be purchasing an sv soon and fortunatley I have an f3 sitting in my garage. I'm just wondering is it worth it?

It's a half inch wider so the 160/60 tire fits on it better.

I still need something to match my VFR rear rim...are the F-3 rims able to work on the SV fork and axle???...I'm up for minor fab work.
Oh and, what other parts besides an f3 rim do I need?

You'll need spacers and maybe a bearing as well if you get a 99-02 sv. Just spacers if you get an 03 and up. Someone made a nice webpage about all that good stuff:

I wouldn't think the front would be too much worse. Cool link Tom.
