O.K. how about a trade? I'm looking for an 04 or newer sv650s.
I wany to get this out of the way before anyone replies. A new sv650s is about $5500 before tax and lic. and that's what the dealer sells it for, and $6200 o.t.d. The rs was $8500 when first sold. This bike only has 300 miles on it. Has some light rash, but aside from that it's clean! That being the case, i'm willing to do a straight up trade for an 05 or newer sv, but for an 04 I think I would need to get some cash. Of course this also depends on the condition of the bike and any aftermarket parts.

Heh, I was just saying the other day that this would be my next track bike. But alas, I don't have anything to trade for it :-)

can you describe for me what sort of stuff the bike comes with. i see the arrows. but i also see deals like this (http://forums.13x.com/showthread.php?threadid=95244) all the time for complete bikes all ready to race in the 5k range. what year is it? what sort of suspension? gearing? etc etc...

rear stand and shop manual it's an 02 with 300 miles. So the motor is still fresh, no need for a top end , or clutch change, or any crank work. I have yet to see an 02 with 300 miles on the clock selling for under $5000. The bike is ready to race and the suspension is stock. You would be suprised how well it handles with the stock set-up.
