Whats your level of riding? Ive taken both. I felt that Class was geared tward street riders and STAR leans tward track riders. But neither is exlusive.
If you have a lot of track time go STAR. if your new to riding or the track go Class. But again both Regg and Jason have great programs and take all skill levels

ya..I'm leaning towards Star......looks like we have a choice between March...and...sheesh...September. You'd think maybe he'll be busy racing or something...
What ya think Alex? September ya???
I'll be hitting up Fontana again in March...as i have to use my free trackday before then.:groove:
Going to try their 2 on 1 instructor thing since the day itself is $0.

For new riders what's teh best way to start doing trackdays here and there? I've taken MSF and am interested in doing a trackday in the next year.
the prices on the http://www.superbikeschool.com/schedule/ are all too expensive, are there other places that offer more newbie friendly tracks and lower prices?

It's not that their schedule has non-newb friendly tracks....but the url you have listed is for a school. Track time & classroom instruction. Those prices are pretty typical of track instruction.
If you're just looking for a "trackday", those can be had from prices ranging from $100 to $300 depending on where you go.
I don't think this list is complete yet..but look here.

I've booked a day with Class on Monday, March 13th. I also bought 5 track days from TrackDaz at the Long Beach bike show... will prolly do a Streets of Willow before Class just to get aquainted with the track.

Takeit2thetrack.net has their schedule up.
Suavedg, I would recommend you go to one thier events. There are plenty of control riders to give you a hand and the "C" group is well organized for the beginners

Cal Sport Bike has their schedule posted here (http://www.calsportbike.com/trackdays/index.html)
They were the West Coast affiliate of Sportbike Track Time but I see no mention of that relationship in the above link.

looks like I'll be tracking it with some different groups (my usual are FastTrack and Trackdaz) this year as TakeItTwo and CalSportbike have a couple days that would work out good
hmmm wounder when sbrtrackday.com guys will post their schedule? isn't that SPAZ that usually posts about them?
