does anyone know where I can get a front rim straightend, it has a small dent and it looks like the last person who had it rode it that way, (got the rim from ebay).

I am in the process of geting the dispute over this item resolved, but I think it might just be faster to get the rim fixed.

So can I expect to have the rim straigt again, if it's not to expensive and they can get it prety straight I am going to do that.

btw. I'm San Diego

You might try:

US Wheel Polishing & Repair
1000 West Bradley Avenue Suite Q
El Cajon, CA 92020

We've used them for polishing our personal vehicles' wheels, and they've repaired a metric crap-ton of race car wheels that were damaged by rocks jumping out in the middle of the course. ;)

Not sure if he does MC wheels, but a quick phone call should clear that up. The owner's a good guy, not a flake.

Dave moore's wheel service in Apple Valley is first class, he is reasonable, and does awesome work. He ships it back usually the next day, around $65.

He even rebuilds welds and usually paint matches the repaired area.

Doc John is the way to go... give him the business if you can. Stand up guy, pleasure to deal with and very very helpful. He stuck around for 2 freakin hours after he was closed waiting for me because I got stuck in hellish traffic on the way there. I tried to give him an extra $40 for his time spent waiting on my sorry ass to show up, and he wouldn't take it.

and he'll fix it while you wait. He straightened my frame too.

just wanted to say thanks again, I just got back from Dr. Johns, very satisfied.

Now I need to bring the whole bike to see how the frame is :(

Hoolie, I called but the guy there wasn't to sure about it coming out perfect or close to it, so I decided skip him, but the can work on motorcycle rims.
