I purchased $50 worth of parts from this web site on Nov 4th, and have not heard from them. 3 emails requesting info on delivery have gone unanswered. Payment was thru' PayPal on the web site and was a verified seller.
I informed PayPal and they are looking into it

Looks like a one-man shop, some guy named Shane who goes by the handle of Gixxer600m on the GSXRpaddoc.com boards. If you want to give him some slack, maybe he's out of town or busy right now.

But you would think he would have a phone number on his website, and that his email would use his website's domain.

Good luck. Keep us posted on things as they do or don't develop. If he comes through I'd like some of his quick-locks.

Here are some comments on the GSXR site:

Here's the guy's name and address (2 yrs old)...you can take it from there.

I too also ordered some parts from Shane the other day. Many of my emails went un-answered. I finally got an email last Friday stateing that he was out "hunting". He claimed that my parts where shipped and that if I hadn't received them he would ship new products or refund my money. Shane failed to provide the shipper's name or a tracking number.

If I don't receive my parts by Friday I will notifiy PayPal.

Normally I only order from companies with actual telephone numbers. I usually call first or email and wait for a response first. This time it was late at night and I just went ahead and ordered the parts.

sometimes I understand the one man shop thing as I am a one man fabricator. one thing I always try to do is keep everyone up to date... on the stuff. however since these are usally side jobs and the real jobs can get busy as well as life itself, we can't always answer rigth away....hopefully he is not trying to jack you, but he should at least have an auto reply notice if he was out of town..hopefully all works out...

yes, and the guy should at least have a number to call him and leave a message!

but seeing how robert is able to keep everyone up to date I figure that guy shouldnt have a problem posting somewhere that he's busy or whatever

PayPal refunded my money, minus the $1.35 for the protection I choose when ordering (which I don't always opt for).
I notified PayPal yesterday and received my refund today. I received an email stateing that "Shane Lafountain" had refuned my money.

I ordered a set from him in August - it took multiple emails and threats to get him to deliver. I ended up not using them as his plates are so thin that they flex when you put any weight on the pegs. I ended up getting a set from Fireblade http://fireblade.ennovatix.com/rear_sets/suzuki/index.php Matthew Thompson is the owner and he's a straight-up guy. They are a bit more expensive at $75, but they are way better quality, don't flex, and you actually get what you paid for without any hassles. He has sets for SV650 and SV1000.

I have them, haven't noticed any flex. In fact, when I lowsided, the rearset plate was fine. The OEM bracket, on the other hand, snapped. I hope the guy gets his act together, $30 is a steal, I don't feel like ponying up for rearsets.
