I was wondering if a TRE can be used in confunction with a power comm USB?

I took out the snork and added a yosh r3 slipon, k&n filter and am using the dyno fuel pump excel feature. I had it dyno'd at around 72HP. I didn't want to get a custom map until I have tweaked everything I can first. Working on doing a 520 chain conversion to 14, 47 as well. Any suggestions to what else i should do to it?

Also I get a wierd surge when it is idle in N. From 1500-2k for a few seconds then back down. I notice it at lights with the clutch in as well. Tho I am thinking that might be the pump excel thing and am debating turning it off. Thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

You can use the TRE mod with a PC3 USB. I have both on my 996. With the TRE your rpm's will decrease with the clutch in all gears. Without the TRE, it won't be affected in neutral. RPM's go up a little with the clutch out, around 300 rpm's.

I also turned my A pump down to zero %. It's activated, but not doing anything. It made my bike burble at low rpm's. Did you mess with the TPS or STPS? TB sync may be off too..

You will hate a 14-47.

I have a 15-47 cause thats all AFAM had in stock.

I think 15-46 would be ideal.

I'm gonna deactivate the pump tomorrow and see if it makes a difference. I haven't changed anything as far as TPS or STPS. Just using the map template off the dynojet site. Custom map might iron out all the little kinks I guess.

Why 15 - 46 ratio? I'm just curious cause sum of all parts has a 520 conversion kit for 129.99 right now.
