Who replaces their brake and fuel hoses

Every 4 years like the shop manual states?

My bike needs a bunch of regular maintenance so I'm looking at what I need to get together before I do this. I'm pretty sure my 6 year old bike hasn't had the aforementioned items replaced.

.....I wouldn't..........unless it is needed.....

.....check your hoses and lines every now and then................if they look like they're in good cond.............why mess with them......


......if you see cracks........inflexibilities.....etc............. .then replace them......regardless of where you're at in the time line....
