Ignition system

Anybody know of any package deals for the SV...coils, wires, etc.? I've looked at both Accel and MSD and both get good reviews when installed properly. Thanks.

dont know of any good deals but do know there is nothing wrong with stock one.

Nothing wrong with it at all, but wondering if it could be further upgraded, or if its even worth it.

Ok, that'll save a few bucks. Always around cars, and figured it may make as big of a difference on bikes.

Specifically what aspect of the stock ignition system would you like to upgrade ?

If you are into tinkering with the bikes tuning and don't already have a power commander (or similar), this might be an option. Depending on how you ride, you could tailor the bike's tuning for specific demands. Might even have a couple of preset curves - one for communting - another for weekend insanity (more of my thing than commuting).

Sort of spooky though, screwing with the tuning. With my luck I would probably frag the engine while playing with the possibilities. Sort of like letting a monkey play with a hand grenade.

Actually, I was just looking into wires and coils to start...ign. adv. is gonna be a definite.
