Has anyone had any experience with "War Eagle Racing" custom lower fairings on a 2003+ SV650S? Bad, good; interferences, etc.?

... I guess I might be the first idiot to test pilot these lower fairings - they should arrive tomorrow (Tuesday at the latest). I will post what I find out when I get them, when I fit them up, and when I get the paint shot.
Of course if they don't look like total crap, I will post a picture of my bike with the fairings in place.
Also, I know this is a SoCal site... is it OK to post here once and awhile if I am about as far away from SoCal as one can get in the US? I am in Orlando, Florida.

Checked out their website and the fairings are a little flashy for my taste, but definitely post some pics up when after you get them on!
And I'm positive no one will care where you're posting from. I'd say post all you want it's a great board!

Welcome to the site and good to have you! Post all you want except on the group rides ....and technically I think about the farthest away is Vermont or something(My Geography ain't so hot!).

I think they're a little "kustom-flash" for my tastes, but I noticed that after looking for just a few moments, they were starting to grow on me ... much better than the Airtech "custom" kit ...
p.s. Does anyone have this custom Airtech kit?

No rattle cans for me. I know a great body and paint guy. He shot my '70 Mustang Mach 1 (I built it from a heap of junk over the course of 4 years - my wife is still pissed off at the time and money I spent).
Anyhow, the fairings came in and the right side did not fit well. It was out by enough that I could not modify it within reason despite having good skills with body work. I had to send them back. The people were really nice and I am sure they will sort out the issues. However, I am not the type to try twice. If anyone else goes for these fairings, make sure the right side has been re-fitted. Note that the left side fit really well.
I agree they are a little flashy. But they sort of grew on me. The factory fairings were second choice and the chin spoiler was third. In a strange way I sort of always liked the chin spoiler thing - sort of naked - but not. Mostly wrong from a sportbike "looks" standpoint, but I think that owning an SV is different anyhow. Until this bike I was on I-4's myself.
Here in Orlando, there are I-4 superbikes everywhere (R1's, CBRs, GSXRs, Busa's everywhere). Not many SVs from what I have seen. A friend of mine has a 03 SV1000. Other than that I have seen only two other SV's.
