hey guys, my friend has an sv1k, ( he's not on the forum) and just wanted to know if it was possible to do a " clutchless wheelie" while on the freeway, i dont exactly get that, but he wanted me to ask you all. Also he wants to know if they have short pipes available, cause he thinks short mufflers on bikes look bad ass. You know, kinda like the new , r6's i guess is the best way to describe them, or anything similar. If you guys can help me out, then i'll relay your messages to my friend, thanks :D

Yep, The 1K will come up in second no problem, Third is a bit of a stretch but possible if the conditions are right. Tell him to go up 3 on the rear and it will be a snap. Up in second, Click to third and wing it.
Best thing as far as the pipes go, If he is handy with tools he can buy some second hand slip ons and shorten them like I did on the Streetfighter.
Dont worry about getting flamed here. Most of the people throwing the rocks are the same people that do triple the speed limits on the weekends in the canyons around socal.

That is NOT true!
It's 2.5 times the limit, max!

I saw on ebay I think it was, an SV that the guy took the stock exhaust and cut a 1 foot section out of the muffler and welded it back together. So it was a shorty looking stock exhaust. I will see if I can find it cause it was recently that I saw it.

I can do a clutchless wheelie in 3rd at 55mph on the freeway on my 650s, I'm sure the 1000 can do it as well.

My buddy gave me a Akro can that got damaged in a crash. I drilled out the rivets took it apart cut the damaged section out and rivited it back together. Works fine on the race bike, lighter too:D
