Used SV650 fair price?

Ciao fellas,

Any idea on the fair price for this SV650?

I went to see the bike, and it looked pretty nice, except for the rather high mileage... But I saw the maintenance papers and it seemed to be well taken care of.

I'm thinking somewhere around $3000-3100? What do you think?

15k is not high for that vintage bike. I'd be Leary of a '01 with extremely low miles in that it might need carb work if it had not been stored properly.

Its worth what you are willing to pay. Don't get carried away with auction fever and bit it up and regret it later.

If it was me, I would bit up to 3400 or 3500. new tire, chain.sprocket, tune up. plus saddle bags and atank bag.

Sounds good to me, I'd buy it if I was looking for a naked.
