What classes? Was he on the 650 or a 500?
No surprise on the wins. The old fart has gotten the itch to race again, so look out!

Looked like one of the new Kawi's was on his tail.

Okay, so RRW.com says Z won Formula 2, which would be kinda like WSMC's 550 Superbike, and Lightweight Twins Superbike.

That was probably Kevin from Advanced Kawasaki.
The Kawi did look good out there. Jeff (on the #14 Kawi) rode well and eventually got into the :39's by the end of the day. In the shorter chutes, Zoran's sv would pull away really good from the Kawi, but on the big straight the Kawi was about as good. I understand the motor on that Kawi already had minor work done to it though.
Anyway, yeah...Zman rode his 650 and won F2 and Lightweight SBK. You guys should have seen the F2 start. lol Back of the grid and got the holeshot a mile and like 10 riders later. :) He made it look easy but I know it wasn't. The competition was there. By the way, he probably won't tell you this, but a little 12 yr old girl by the name of Elena Myers kicked his ass in morning practice. :D He'll try to say it was his first time on the track, but she owned him (1/10th of a second).
She's on the 21 bike towards the front. The Kawi also started at the back, on the same row as Zoran.
On the left is the Kawi that Zoran pitted with. Looks like the two of them are chatting about the latest fashion in motorcycle boots or something, while Elena on the right is getting ready to show them around the track.

If you go here (http://mylaps.com/results/newResults.jsp?id=265971) on Mylaps.com, it shows the results from the F2 race. Elena took 2nd just half a second behind Zoran, and she ran he fastest lap of the race! Though I'm sure Z was riding just as fast as he needed to, to win. In the Twins race, Z ran a '39.6, too.
Oh, okay, so that was Jeff Hoeppner on that Kawi (never heard of him). Was that Kawi the one from Advanced Kawasaki, you think?

Jeff works for Kawasaki and is been racing on and off for probably 30 years :)

If I never enter a race that she's in, then she can never kick my ass. :p That looked like a lot of fun yesterday, so I decided I would try and tag along with Charlie to the Vegas and Utah rounds and hope she doesn't show up.

It alsp looked like you lapped quite a few guys to, I know the races were short and you were sorta blending in with them, I have to say you were really smooth thru turns 12,13,14,15 thats where you seemed fastest.:D
were you watching there, under bridge by the wall?
Congrats Zoran, sounds like you had lots of fun!

I was enjoying a Pastrami Sandwich:o in My F150 right outside of turn 12........It was the smoothest line I saw through there all day , Though I think I saw you cook that corner once
which one is 12 anyway?
I cooked few of them few times :),normal when you first time on track.

At the end of the back straight past the bridge
I didnt think the Kawi 650 seemed that fast from any vantage point, It seemed to be left behind by most of the SV's, And Im not just saying that......whats with those Ape Hangers on the Kawi anyways?
That was your first time THERE! Im not bullshitting you, You looked good in late morning practice and in the race, I didnt have any clue who you wereon the track till now but you stood out in my mind as one of the fast guys with out almost crashing in every corner
sunday morning was first time I have seen that track other than on TV.I posted my fastest lap in that second morning practice.

Fook! Impressive Though....... your bike was obviously faster coming down the back straight than anyone else even more so than the 2 Lame Ducs out there
How does one go about getting one of those race ready 6 5 0.s?

funny,i was hitting rev limiter right before that corner but not soon enough to upshift.I had wrong gearing.wind picked up in afternoon and was slowing us down on main straight but pushing from back for turn 12.reason I was in rev limiter much sooner.reason also I did not have to downshift one extra time and lock wheel there, which turned in to smoother line.

There was a the guy on the 250 that had more corner speed at times but he would cut the corner every other lap.
Elena on 125 should have been realy fast through there.125's have most corner speed of all bikes.
if you cut that corner on purpose you can actualy make better lap time.
