Got rid of my rear fender, but still wanted something somewhat OEM looking for my license bracket. Made this out of aluminum, what do you think?

I think the bike makers should make rear ends designed to hold a license plate because they know we're going to chop off the ugly fender with the mounting bracket on it.

I had a word with the bodywork designer for the VW GX3 (the new trike) and explicitly told him that if it needs a big nasty rear fender to pass inspection to just make sure the entire part can be unbolted and thrown away without any major faffing.

He was actually quite interested in a lot of the standard mods motorcyclists make and a couple racer friends of mine had words with him about the ease of replacing body panels on the street version (the whole body was one piece which is a major pain in the ass if you need to replace a section because of stone chips).

Our new house has a large shop and a friend and I are getting equipment together and fixing the shop up to work on product development and limited production. I'd like to do some bike things, this is the first, I guess.

Thanks for you comments.
