Was this taken this past weekend? There was another pic on their sight of Gregg at the same spot, but in this pic he looks to be wearing boots instead of his slippers. And I think in the other pic he was leaned over even more.

Yeah, the boy can ride, he leaves me behind at Palomar. That is the only pic of Gregg from yesterday. As we were getting ready to leave Murrieta, I had to remind him to lose the slippers and put on the boots (he forgot that he had them).
Buy Burst Undertails so Gregg can get some leathers.

Yeah, I neeeeeeeed some leathers bad. But I also need to pay Leigh the money I owe her before I go spending cash on anything else. So buy some undertails people. That way I can pay Leigh AND get some leathers...... :D
The last pic did show a *little* better lean angle.... This one doesn't scare me quite as much.

love them..... and best of all, they were FREE! :D Bluballz got a good deal on them and gave 'em to me for helping him with his bike.
I can actually see EVERYTHING that is around me without having to lift my arm or drag it across the tank. It was getting old staring at my elbows all the time.

I wish they took pictures at a different turn, I rarely even bother with that turn since it's such a wide fast turn. Not that it matters, since i went on saturday.

A wide fast turn??? You do realize what turn that is don't you? It is not the one by the look out point halfway down.......
It is a fairly tight turn. In that photo I am probably only doing 35-40mph. it is a slow 180+ degree turn.
Kurt, they are the lockhart mirrors. The only item I have ever had from lockhart that didn't look like it was going to fall apart if you looked at it wrong. (my carbon mirrors came from them also)

Realy? Looks like the lookout turn. A bunch of the other ones look like they are at the lookout, but you were there. Zoom. Oh wait, I was looking at the old picture. Doh.
On the new picture, I think that might be the turn where Jeff almost got hit buy a guy on a brand new R1 (black with flames), on saturday, that went straight over the line hard on the brakes coming the other direction. Guy woulda plowed into him if Jeff had been the tiniest bit slower.

that skid mark in the first photo is probably from that guy that almost hit Jeff... :D

Gregg you should be racing or something man
those pretty eyes mean business and should be tearing up a track somewhere!
Anyways hope you get some leathers b/4 the summer at least.
Hopefully, we'll see on 2/1 up at Palomar if you're up there past Noon.
See peeps, knee dragging is cool, but it's not necessary just another added technique - Gregg's riding old style and look at him....

I'd love to go race at willow or something.... I just don't have the $$$$ for it. Maybe in the future, for now I will just have to put up with having to ride Palomar. (poor me... :D)

it's not about the style. it's about the pucks - if gregg had some, he'd be dragging his knees.

my pants drag sometimes...... does that count? (maybe I shouldn't wear the baggy jeans when riding :D ....)
and yes, if I had leathers with some pucks, I would most likely be dragging my knee. tho, I do get by just fine without. I usually have no trouble keeping up with those who do drag knee.

Not only would he be sliding his pucks on the ground, but at Palomar he'd be going through them pretty quick. That road is rough on tires and knee sliders.
it may be rough on the tires but it is soooo nice for traction.
