So the 2006 motorcycle road racing season will start this weekend with World Superbike from Qatar, but what series do you think will provide the best racing this year?
World Superbike has a strong grid.
AMA Superbike has Kawasaki back in the mix.
MotoGP . . . . still has Rossi.

Overall I think WSBK will be the best 'racing' and funnest to watch. Good solid grid, returning heroes, new/(old) champions to defend, young pretenders. Gonna be fabulous!
MotoGP..only reason to watch is to see if someone can FINALLY beat Rossi! I'd love to see Hayden finally show some consistent wins, as well as Edwards. I'm also looking forward to seeing Sete get the monkey off his back and stick it to Rossi. That guy had the absolute WORST luck last year, not to mention the headgames he played with hisself.
Can't wait to see BB give Mladin some runs. Again, I'm hoping that someone can get their act together and FINALLY knock Mladin off the top. Not that I don't like the guy, or his winning, I'd just like to see someone else able to beat him and take home the championship!
Pick your poison - the season starts tomorrow and I'm happy 'bout that!!

I am always interested in AMA Superbike, but Moto GP is gonna be hawt, as usual. Nicky Hayden is definitely a force to be reckoned with and Colin should be on fire this year. Rossi is of course my favorite..can't wait to see Dani Pedrosa turrrrin' it up as well.

Why should Colin be "on fire this year?" He's never been on fire before in MotoGP. The guy's the biggest disappointment on the grid.

i just watched WSBK and it was pretty good for both races. lotta changes for podiums during the races.
WSS unsurprisingly is going to be a runaway ten kate domination again.

Who the heck voted for MotoGP (chrdog :raise: ) ?????????? That series is all about who's going to take second in the race. There's nothing close about that series.
I voted for WSBK having the best racing of the season because the grid is stacked with quality riders and teams who are pretty equally matched. But the AMA races, for some reason, are the ones I look forward to watching the most. I think it's because I know the most about all the riders, factory and private, have been around a lot of them in person, know the tracks they are on and can see myself out there someday at the back of the grid. :)

DID YOU GUYS CATCH THE WSBK RACES FROM QATAR??? Talk about close racing all the way to the finish. Looks like Haga's R1 makes for a good submarine as well.

Heck yea! The racing was awesome. There were moments of high drama (how I love those announcers...) that had me on the edge of the recliner.

Because for the first time he is starting the season with the same bike/team he finished the previous... ;)

I don't think that the excitement should come only from watching "close" racing. Otherwise we will all be watching (only) club racing.....
