I would like to travel the next 4 weeks tru the USA.
I have the choice to take mi own modifide bike or... rent or buy a 2ndhand bike.
Cause mi european insurance does not cover the USA renting or buying is to me the best choice.

I start mi stay in Montreal (canada) and arive at mirabel.
so who can gif me advice and ideas about where to buy / rent (a SV)
some points of intrest concerning the roadlaw, etc etc

I've never heard of a place that rents SVs.
But that doesn't mean that they don't exist.

Have you tried the SV rider board to find some Canadians who might know?

Down here in Southern California they only really rent Harleys and sportbikes.
