It was cool rolling with you guys. Hope to see you guys again. Riding down Topanga at nite was a blast. I had my reservations at first, but having 3-4 bikes in front of you serving as lane markers certainly helped. Also, keeping your thumb on the high beams and two fingers on the clutch lever certainly was new to me too...

There a bike nite happenin' at westwood every 1st thurs of the monday. Show up in front of Mr. Noodle and chill...

it was certainly a new thing for me riding in the pitch black canyon, that is the main reason for taking it very slow. but it was a blast. hopfully we can meet up again.

Sorry cory for not waiting up thought you kept going, But I did make good time back to Santa Clarita about 30 min or less.
It was fun riding with guys, even know I ride the canyons once in awhile through placerita and sand canyon at night to get home.
Just enter the turn easy then accelerate out. Don't forget don't brake in the turns like that one guy was doing, best way to loose control at speeds. Anyways hopefully we will meet up again next wed.
Bruce is there a map and time for the place on the 1st thurs of each month?

WESTWOOD BIKE NIGHT - First Thursday of every month at Mr. Noodle across the street from BJ's in Westwood Village.

RICE MOTORS - Stuntgrlwannbe's Bike night..Last Thursday of every month. umm...I actually forget how to get there. Corner of Francisquito and Hacienda?


As for the guy braking during the turn, are you referring to the guy in front of me? On our way to bike night going up sepulveda, he went wide on a sweeper and went off the road. Actually, he was wheelie-ing and when he got the bike down, it was already too late. Next time I ride with him, I'll be sure to be in front of him... but those 900rr's just catches up to you no prob when you're on a straight...

PS: I saw a blue naked SV at Cycle Gear with clip ons and an MX # plate affixed to the triple clamp area by zip ties...is this the newest rage in SV mods?

Bruce are you going Wed. Also that 900rr in front of you needs a little more practice so does the guy on the new duc. I had no problem blowing by them and staying in front in fact I was shooting for the r1 and r6. Oh well not every one is me, yea. The sv has no problem against old bikes unless they have been moded.

San Fernando Valley Bike Night

Last night was off the hook! We shattered the last record of 297 bikes set about 6 weeks ago. Last night - 376 BIKES!

Due to this ever increasing turnout, and because of continued complaints from customers and store managers about the parking situation, we must now PARK IN THE REAR of the Rite Aid lot. Beginning next week, PLEASE PARK IN THE REAR! I can not emphasize this enough. If we do not move to the back lot, the property owner will sign an order asking the police to remove us.

Please post this notice on other forums you may belong to and tell anyone you know that comes to bike night.

I was there, but didn't plan it. I was "called out" by some of my "Home Boyz" so attended both SFV and the "Hollywood" festivities. But bailed for Hollywood at just after 11 p.m. when everyone departs for the serious "Tom Foolery."

Guess I'm getting old. Saw Wrench Whore at SFV, (I was with Martin and Tom and was quiet as usual so sorry if I didn't say "hey".)

Rode the Midnight Black '02 ZX-12R as one friend was on a Silver Busa and the other was on a '00 Green ZX-12R w/o mirrors.

Did I mention it was bitter cold in the Valley and not so bad at Vermont & Hollywood Blvd.

I just moved up to LA from SD and decided to cage to bike night. got to see how things go over there, pretty good size gathering. didn't introduce myself to anyone, cause I felt kinda like a dork just walking through. saw maybe 4 or 5 SVs. maybe next time i could introduce myself to some of you who show up.

You should have introduced yourself-- especially to the SVers-- that's pretty much what I do. I have a few peeps that I tag around with during bike night, but I try to welcome all the SVers-- and there's no shame in arriving in a cage. You CAME to bike night, right?

I met BristolBird there last night- and I'm still trying to get some SVers there to join up on this board already, but they are kind of closed about the idea. I'll convet them yet.

Anyway, I jetted early because my contacts were eating my eyeballs alive!

Is 17 miles a deal breaker?? I'll be there too, every Thurs just about. It is pretty low key though in Ventura. Nothing that exciting. You have the clicks of people that know eachother and talk, some show up and leave shortly after probably because they don't know many people. We had quite the group last week, but I am sure nothing like what it is in LA or the valley. Less peeps out here in Ventura! :) I mostly talk to the other girl riders and few of the boys. Better than sitting in front of the tv doing fck all!!
