..."try this in the states"... What's the point? No offense but this looks really boring...and yes I watched it :) And you should know American MX/SX riders are best in the world... no one can come near to the level of skill or speed of Ricky Carmichael or James Stewart... or any AMA racers. When multiple time MXdN world champion Stefan Everts (Belgium) was interviewed, commenting on Team USA's returning to the competition, he said, in a very humbled manner: "...well, we were all riding very fast, but then there's Ricky..."

i'm talkin' supermoto, not motorcross. they're not the same
they have it @ the x/gravity/extreme games but it doesn't seem nearly as extreme as what's going on over the pond.

what are you talking about?!?
everything that america does, europe can do better. god, havent you been too college?
i mean, america sucks at everything. i think its because of our president. he is an idiot you know. at least that what i heard on CNN.......
:D
seriously though, im not sure that would be considered supermoto. there was no pavement. the nearest category you could put that clip in would be motocross. but it definitely wasnt supercross.
now that i think about it, with that up and down the stair action and the wall riding, it had kind of a trials feeling to it. but way faster.
but you are right, there needs to be more supermoto over here.

you are right, those are supermoto trim. (enlarged the window and had a closer look :D) my mistake. so this is like arena-supermoto. I did just get to ride supermoto for a couple of days last weekend... the sole of my boot is gone...
haha you are right too bloodclot I do need to go back to college...

I saw a couple true SM's, but most bikes lacked the 17" wheels, front and back. All have no knobbies though...

I believe that I heard the sportscaster say
(indoor motosportsrama)
and that sounds like the name of this new motosport.
BTW did you notice they are running knobs on a smooth surface and where doing a lot of slipping and sliding?
thats got to be hard.

That's one of the nuttiest races i've seen. it's supermoto, just very very mx biased supermoto. more like asphalt mx though. that course would be so fun though, especially the banking. i'd kill myself in half a lap.
i couldn't tell if those guys were still running knobs, or if they had dual sport rubber? i was kinda impressed at how fast they could take the slick slick cement left hander up in the grandstands! that course is all about a light light bike.

reminds me of when they use to do the Micky Thompson off road races in side those domes back east...littel steel ramps and they put cut BFG street tires on the cars.it looked like some guys were using dual sport tires on the bikes just big fat ones on the rear..very interesting...it was neat to watch very action packed..
I swear I had that same course set up on my living room floor when I was five years old, courtesy of Playskool.
