Saturday was a great day, some wind, but I was able to cut some low 40s lap times. That made me feel great! I know, I know, I'm still off the pace and I'M SLOW but I'm having a good time out there.

Sunday had me gridded midpack in Formula Twins Lightweight and that's where I was when we headed into T1. I fought flawlessly to the back of the pack and even got to dice with some of the 500 singles.

I raced two other classes on Sunday, the 550 Superbike and BOTT middlweights. I had great fun in both races and got to dice with a few folks I hadn't seen before. Mostly just worked to fight my way to the back of the pack and not crash. The wind was pretty heavy.

So not much excitement to watch, but for me it was fun. I'll try to stay out of everyone's way till I can pick up the pace...Kurt, your bike sounded awesome when you passed me. Wow! Cody, you look so smooth on your ride...

See ya next month!

Haha. Thanks. But hey, it took me almost the full eight laps to run you down, so you are getting faster!

I bet Mr. C would drop at least another second, and maybe two, if he even attempted to tuck on those long straightaways. :p :D

Sunday was definately a fun day, Charlie. Congrats on smooth and faster runs this weekend.

I'm looking at mylaps often and amazed at the pattern of riders' fastest laps, and the order of finish on the first lap, and how that is pretty much in line with the checkered flag results. There is some passing, but pretty much the guy with the faster fastest lap finishes ahead, and the order of the first lap is often the same as the final results.

BTW, how did you like KK's pass in 550 SB?

In my first race, KK lapped my 660 single right before the start finish on my fourth lap:eek: with about a 60 mph closing speed.  (Me 105 mph, him 165 mph) It was a non event for me, but I wouldn't want to be him coming up on an unknown rider at 60.

Brienne, If you're healing up at home and reading this - smile!
We want to know you are getting better and feeling good.
