S-Fairing matches between years

The front fairing was the same for the '03 1000 as the rest of the 1000's and 650's through '05 right? Copper to be specific.

on my lowers there is a stamp in the plastic that says "sv1000". I've been led to believe that the 1000's frame is wider than the 650's. I don't think the fairings are meant to be universal if that is your question.

I can't tell any diff between the 03 650 and the 05 1K. Other than color I think they are the same.

i do not think they are the same..i checked the part number for an 03 650 to an 05 1000 and they are not the same

I believe the P/Ns are different for two reasons. 650 sicker or 1000 sticker, and color but I'm not absolutely totally sure.
