Does Ti2TT feed you lunch, too? I can't remember. It's looking like I might have the money to do this and since I have plenty of sick time here at work, what the hell. Plus if AFM is going to race Buttonwillow backward in October, I need the practice, and Buttonwillow backward is really, really fun.

What group were you wanting to ride in? We've got some last minute cancels, but we keep the groups shut down for the waitlist customers. Email or call me if you like.
C group. I sent you a pm, but I forgot to mention the day, etc. that I was pming you about, so hopefully you will figure it out. There is no number listed in your profile. Are you the Take it 2 the Track god and I should just call the number on your website?
Don't refer to Aaron as god... it may go to his head. :p

Buttonwillow backwards is a blast! I like it better backwards. It was hot, but not tooo bad. I started off riding pretty hard trying to be as fast as I could be (C group fast) and then half way through the day I thought I'm actually riding kinda crappy and I have nothing to prove to the other people on the track. So I slowed it down a bit and worked on my turns. The tighter more technical turns I noticed that I tend to turn in too soon, apex too soon, not carry throttle through the turn, and come out wide. None of these being particularly useful, I slowed down and tried to tighten up on my turns. Practice, practice, practice...
And I need to learn body positioning!! I started sticking my knee out, but I don't think that does anything if you don't move your :ass: ! lol
Oh, and I have to say, boys don't know it all!! I've tied my bike in my truck countless times and always do it the same way every time with no problems. No matter how crazy I drive the bike doesn't move. I let someone (boy) talk me into tying my bike down their way ('cause you don't need that many tie downs, you don't need to crank on it so much, it isn't going anywhere). Well, my bike went down twice. The second time I said :finger: and tied it down my way. Guess what? The bike didn't move again. And then the boy tried to blame my anchors on my truck. Riiiiight! Lucky for him, no scratches or dents. Maybe a pipe that is slightly bent in now. I would of had to bust a move on his ass.

Hahaha. I learned long ago to just let you silly broads load and tie down your bikes however you want to. It's your shit, so I shouldn't worry about it.
I had fun yesterday, too. 3 days of hard riding on the track really takes it out of you, though. I'm feeling it today.
Buttonwillow backward is really fun. While going over the wheelie bump in this direction, if you break and downshift for the upcoming turn, which I do, I learned you have to watch what you're doing to keep from doing an out of control stopie over it. That got my attention real good, one time.
There were a lot of ladies out there yesterday, and that's always good to see. ;)

LMAO! no comment.... like the tailgate incident.
Glad you had a good day! Looking forward to the next time. I have to admit, it's really fun and amusing when "Mr. & Mrs. Bickerman" come.

April, you're too cute! Glad we could entertain you again!! And to think, he isn't even my Mr!
Thanks for giving me a heads up about the trackday just before it was sold out. ;) Actually, I have problems viewing their site so the future dates I have no idea where they are, etc. Need to go find their post card...

Silly?? Hey, if it works, don't mess with perfection!! Silly boys think they know it all and think we need your help! All we need is your muscles to push the bike up the ramp, no thinking allowed!!

I got my CD today from the photographer. I really like how the color comes out on his camera.
I like this pic because it looks like I've just come hauling ass from the port-o-poty.

LOL... I guess that's a compliment? ;)
I had a great time out there doing the photography and was my first time ever at buttonwillow so I've looked at what went wrong, what went right and I'll make it better for the next time!
