TRE mod for V-Strom?

Hello all,I met a rider with an 06 650 strom and he complained about the surging at partial throttle....we switched bikes and he was impressed with the difference in response my bike has and I know his Strom needs the mod..Anyone know if the wire colors are the same as on the SV?I told him Id help out as I did the TRE myself on my SV,Any help is appreciated
