My F16 windscreen cracked and I ended up breaking the piece off where it clamps. What type of glue will work ?...it's made of Lexan FMR material.
Thanks..

Damn that sucks, Mike. Because of the material you'll probably be using some epoxy that would be suitable for use with acrylic. If you were to fix it this way though, you'll need a piece of acrylic/lexan/similar to epoxy over the line of the crack, and if the crack is along some compound curve that will prove to be difficult. You might just be at a loss. Is the crack a whole corner that is snapped off, or just a partial fracture?

I've never had any luck gluing plastic back together. I'd replace it.

Go to an auto parts store they have a clear epoxy for use on lense covers and such. Don't know how it will hold up if the mend is at a stress point, but its worth a try.

hobbby shop, 5 or 30 min epoxy (2-part) will be best. i have a bunch for my model planes. it works well on most things, plastics too..

The whole piece has broken off. I know there are some plastic glues that 'fuse' the plastic and then you join the 2 halves while still wet...like the glue you use on plastic pipe for sprinklers.
