MotoGP '06 xbox 360

Although I would not proudly admit that I have an xbox (I don't like microsoft...) but I did purchase it for the sake of MotoGP '06. I like the game.

I wasn't surprised that the xbox has a few glitches, and it's f-ing loud. But the developer's effort in making a descent motobike racing game I found admirable. The only complaint I have is that nearly at the apex of every corner the cpu doesn't seem to be able to catch up with the required framerate; as if every exist gets a Matrix-bullet-time treatement.

Personally I think MotoGP 3 for PS2 is still the best. I can't wait for Motogp 4 for PS2. I played it last year at Laguna Seca, and it was awsome! Can't wait to try out 250cc 2 smokes. And I need Suzuka.

I saw a trailer for MotoGP 06 and, after playing Tourist Trophy for too many hours, days & weeks, I found the MotoGP gaame to be a let-down. The riders kind of look fake and cartoonish to me, especially compared with TT. Some of the in-the-action replay footage of MotoGP 06 looked good, but overall I think TT has far superior/realistic modeling - I just wish you could race more bikes and against famous riders like Rossi in TT.

Ive played the demo of motogp06. I'd say its pretty good looking. Smooth frame rate, bike models look good. But i'll wait till it gets cheaper. Im still pissed there no word on Ralisport 3 for 360.

I've got Moto GP 06 for the xbox 360 and so far I like it alot. If any of you have it and are playing on Xbox live, it would be fun to race you......anyone? anyone?:D

After racing the demo I went out and pre-ordered my copy of GP and I am not disappointed. Every game has areas you can pick apart, but this game is just fun to play.

Dominus I play all the time, alot of extreme 1000 tag mode. Handle is IITWIZTIDII send me a friend invite and I'll smoke ya :cool:

Tourist Trophy is a blast! I recommend it if you still have a PS2 and aren't planning on getting an XBOX 360. The only problem is that it doesn't have an SVS as one of the bike choices :(

Got the game last week and i love it. It can't compare to tourst trouphy (sp?) The graphics or WAY WAY better and the game play is a lot smoother. I've got no complains about the game.

Just a quick question does anybody race the "real" thinf with the number of laps? Just wondering cuz it takes me like 45 minutes to finish a race on pro

I have never had a console game yet!!! I am also very anti Micro$oft and run Linux OS... I do have a hacked up version of XP so I can play computer games.. I have always have friends who do have console games.. My brother just bought Tourist Trophy and I must say the graphics are really good!!! Just wish there was online play with the PS2. Might have to get MotoGP 3 just to check it out have heard it kicks arse...

I played the demo, I liked the controls WAY better than tourist trophy, though I did like the look and bikes in tourist trophy. This game is way more play-able, just remember, the front and rear breaks are different buttons, and you can control the throttle with the right hand analog stick.

Moto gp '06 is exciting and awesome.

yes, the controls are re-configurable. Tourist Trophy was a waste of money for me...
