I'm a new member and just bought an SV a couple of weeks ago from another member. Unfortunately, I need to install some lowering links on the bike and I have no place to do it. I live in an apartment that does not allow any mechanical work to be done on site and I have no means to raise the frame.
I was wondering if there are any local San Diego members who wouldn't mind helping out a new rider and/or provide a place I could do some work on my bike. I will provide your brew/beverage of choice of course :D
Actually, I just realized that I wouldn't be able to ride to someone else with the bike being too tall and my lack of riding practice. So if anyone has any suggestions for changing the dogbones or would be willing to come down to the Hillcrest area to help out, it would be greatly appreciated.
