SOLD: GSXR Shock for 1st Gen

I bought a GSXR 600 (1999 i think?) shock off ebay with the hope of getting it resprung and revalved for my first gen SVS. It sat in my garage for a year and I've lost interest.

would i need new triple clamps for these? how hard is it to put on once i get it repsung to my weight?

To clarify, it's the rear shock. I've never done the swap, but I'd assume you'd just need something suspend the rear of the bike to unweight the existing shock.

This shock won't be good for your 2005 model.
